Situated in the Sylvan setting of Kumaun-Hills of Uttrakhand, Kendriya Vidyalaya Ranikhet was established on 1 June, 1964, one of the earliest 20 schools set up by KVS. From its infancy the Vidyalaya has now completed four decades of its, meritorious services. The present edifice of the Vidyalaya bears a silent testimony to its glorious past during which the Vidyalaya produced many a luminary from its quiver who has successfully evolved as  good & responsible citizens doing proud to the nation. The Vidyalaya has now assumed a gigantic proportion in terms of its academic growth and infrastructure.
